Day 28 of 84

Things are going fairly well. Except I weighed myself this morning and the scale has not gone down. It's been a week since I last weighed... At least it didn't go up. Right?

Didn't do workout yesterday so I "made it up" today. Sure did kick my butt. Felt like puking afterwards! I guess that's good, right? I am constantly improving and that must been good things are happening. They just aren't happening fast enough. Anyone ever feel that way???

Day 22 of 84

So I have made it to Day 22!!!... It hasn't been easy but I'm making it! I wrote out some more goals yesterday...

1. I will eat more veggies for the next week!
2. I will do cardio twice a day: 1/2 hr A.M., 1/2 hr P.M. w/in the next week.
3. I will not weigh myself until NEXT Sunday, 10Dec06.
4. I will call Dad every night for the next week and tell him what I ate. (Accountability!) (NOTE: I do NOT want to disappoint my Dad... EVER!! I think calling him every night is a GREAT idea. I just love his approval. I should have thought of this a LONG time ago!)

Those are just some things I am going to work on this week.
Todays meals went something like this...
1035 MRP shake
1200 1/2 srvg broccoli w/ ff ranch dressing
1315 1.5 c Bran flakes w/ 1 c skim milk
1730 1 srvg celery w/ 1 TBSP natural pb
1830 fajitas w/ el el bean

I feel like I had a very productive day! Did ubwo this morning and had an AWESOME, kick-butt cardio session this afternoon. And we did a whole bunch of situps and pushups this afternoon after cardio. As you all know I am working on passing my fitness test for the Air Force and I am working out with my Section Commander's wife!! My cardio this afternoon consisted of sprint training. Went really well... pushed myself past a point that I NEVER thought I could get through! I did it and now I'm unstoppable. It has filled me so much confidence in the running department! I know I am going to pass this test within the month. I can't wait!! Keep reading to find out when. :-)

OKay... So Jason and I go to Southern Athletic Club. It has EVERYthing. And when I say EVERYthing I mean EVERYTHING!!! It has an indoor track, pool, hottub, steam rooms, women's room, racquetball courts, tons of aerobic classes to choose from and of course, your cardio machines, free weights and machines, etc. BUT since we've been going there I have only used the weight machines and cardio equipment. SO.. yesterday we found a little fitness center closer to base (SAC is about 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic, away from our house). This one is about 10 minutes from base... So I can go in the morning (before work) and shower there (they have private showers, which is completely awesome!) and when I get out of work, if I want, I can go there and it takes me so little time to get home. It doesn't have nearly everything that SAC has but it's more personable and that's a HUGE plus with me. It's smaller and I don't think too many ppl have heard of it yet so it won't be too busy! They offer a free 7-day pass so I think I'm going to check it out. Yes it's nice to have the option of all the added perks of SAC but location is key with me! So I don't know. It's up in the air right now. Oh yeah, we just pay month by month at SAC but you have to sign a contract with this other place. Which isn't too bad b/c they have many, many locations whereas SAC is only in Oklahoma. So I don't know. What do you guys think?
