HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!...

This is it!! This is our time to shine in 2009!! :-)

Jason and I will be taking measurements, pics and making a grocery list today! We are ready to do this.

I went to the doc today and I have to get part of my toe nail cut out from both big toes. Of course, I plan on starting my program on Monday and now I have to deal with this. But that's okay b/c I am still going to start eating right and ride the bike, for now. I am not going to let this get me down.

I found this when I was going through an old notebook and thought I would share it...

I get discouraged now and then when there are clouds of gray.
Until I think about the things that happened yesterday.
I do not mean the day before, or those from months ago.
But all the yesterdays in which I had a chance to grow.
I think of opportunities that I allowed to fall aside.
And those I took advantage of before they passed me by.
And I remember that the past presented quite a plight.
But somehow I endured it and the future seemed all right.
And I remind myself that I am capable and free.

Was doing some reading on other people's blogs tonight and came across a few REALLY good things...

I will be content with who I am right now while striving to be better tomorrow. (katiep)

Starting stats (can't believe I am posting this information but I've got to start somewhere):

Weight: 278 lbs
bust: 48.75
waist: 46.5
abs: 56.25
hips: 55.25
thigh: R 28.5 L 28

Had measurements taken at the gym on 9Dec. Will have Jason take calf and arm measurements tomorrow. Had pics taken today.

Goals for my 12-Week journey...

#1 W/in 12 weeks, I will lose 33-34 lbs of bodyfat!
#2 W/in 12 weeks, I will gain strength.
#3 W/in 12 weeks, I will gain more confidence.
#4 W/in 12 weeks, I will fit into size 18 jeans.
#5 W/in 12 weeks, I will lose 10 inches around waist.

I cannot wait to lose all of this weight!! My ultimate goal for 2009 is to lose 100 lbs by 22Sept (my baby's ONE year bday)!!!
Day 1 of 84

Today was a wonderful day! It is VERY cold here now so that's not so fun.

Bfl info: Did not do the ubwo today. Plan is for tomorrow, along with my cardio day. Did not eat out at all today!! Made dinner and ate at home. I did some cardio today. I also spent some time planning my ubwo for tomorrow. It's a new gym, so I walked around and looked at the machines to figure out which ones I am gonna use and how much weight i am gonna be lifting. So I am all set for tomorrow!!

I AM PREGNANT!!!...

We found out on 16Jan08 that we are expecting. Then we found out on 23Apr08 that we are having a BOY!!!! We are SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited. We have tried for a LONG time. :-)
