I have been meaning to update for the past week but haven't made time to get on here and do it. So... I have fallen off the wagon. It's been three weeks since I've followed my program to a 'T'. I have been doing aerobics on Mondays & Fridays (b/c it's mandatory at work) and kickboxing on Wednesdays and on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of the month we have a practice PT test so I have been running a 1.5 miles on those days. But that's it. I haven't been eating all that well either. I have been attempting but we all know how that goes! So...

I have decided that I am going to start running and following the bfl workouts to a 'T' starting tomorrow. My husband will take my before picture and my measurements tomorrow as well. And I'll be off...

Just wanted to update.

Hey there!

Just read your comments on my blog and thank you for your kind words! To answer your question in regards to how we accomplish Baby Step #1 (Dave Ramsey) so quickly, I believe it to be one of God’s little blessings. As soon as we decided to start applying his Baby Steps, only 3 days after, I was blessed with a bonus check and my husband got a commission check. Our budget is very tight and at the moment, due to maternity payment plan, we are making minimum payment on our debts….My husband will be starting a new job in a few weeks, and will bring in more money (just not sure how much yet). Hopefully, we’ll be able to start focusing on getting rid of the remaining credit card debt.

By the way, keep trying for that baby! It can take a while for some people, and I totally understand about how you feel about people having kids when they shouldn’t and the ones that truly want them struggle. Just remember, there’s always adoption! I, myself, have given it great thought and want to adopt. There are too many kids out there that need a good home.

BTW, are you starting a complete new challenge today?

Carole,

I am so happy for you that things are working out financially! All it takes is a little planning and researching and of course God's hands in it all and it will work out the way it is supposed to. That is how I look at becoming pregnant as well. It is all in God's time! Right?!?! :-)

My husband and I are both getting a second job (part time) to pay off our bills. The financial goals for 2006 were no more credit and to pay off AT LEAST two bills. I planned it out and it looks like we're going to accomplish that PLUS have an emergency fund established. We should have the emergency fund by June! I am so excited! :-)

Yes today was to mark a complete new challenge but it didn't go as planned but I will continue trucking on...

Thanks for posting!
