Took my P.T. test on Friday... increased my score by 17.75 points. I was shooting for 20!! If only my abdomen was 0.5 inches smaller!! That would have gotten me 2.25 points. Can you believe that?!?!? I ran my 1.5 mile in 17:16... I dropped 2 minutes from my previous run time. I did 19 pushups... increased that by 14!! My abdominal circumference went down, I think, by 2.5 inches!! All in all, I am VERY happy with those results!
I read a lot last night on everyone's progress and starting the bfl again and what-not. Got me really thinking about when I did the bfl a few years ago (can't believe it's been that long!) and actually stuck to EVERYthing. I saw AMAZING results. Every time I think about losing weight, every time I talk about losing weight... I always go back to the bfl BUT I have not done it in so long. I have been half-heartedly attempting it. Wanting to lose weight REALLY bad but not doing everything that I know to do. SO... I decided to start it again. It wouldn't hurt!
I didn't go to the gym this morning... I just wanted to sleep in a little bit. I had a meeting at 0800 so I didn't have to go to work before my meeting so, needless to say, I slept in!! Well tonight I had to go to base for something. I went in my gym clothes b/c I figured I could just swing by the gym on my way home. Well... I sat in the parking lot for 10 minutes. Couldn't make myself get out of my vehicle. So I called my really good friend... NO ANSWER. I left a message. THEN I called my sister, Rachel, NO ANSWER. I left another message. Then I called one of my workout-a-holic co-workers... SHE ANSWERED!! Thank goodness. So she helped me talk myself into going into the gym! And I am so thankful to her b/c I feel AWESOME!!! I am so very proud of myself. I did 35 minutes all in all of cardio (b/c I have to document at least 30 minutes of activity)... so I did the bfl 20 minute HIIT cardio and then went backwards on the elliptical for 8 minutes and cooled down for 7!! VERY VERY proud of myself. I think this is what I needed to get me moving! I actually did something I set out to do! I accomplished my workout goal for the day. Yeah me!!! :-)
