Day 22 of 84

So I have made it to Day 22!!!... It hasn't been easy but I'm making it! I wrote out some more goals yesterday...

1. I will eat more veggies for the next week!
2. I will do cardio twice a day: 1/2 hr A.M., 1/2 hr P.M. w/in the next week.
3. I will not weigh myself until NEXT Sunday, 10Dec06.
4. I will call Dad every night for the next week and tell him what I ate. (Accountability!) (NOTE: I do NOT want to disappoint my Dad... EVER!! I think calling him every night is a GREAT idea. I just love his approval. I should have thought of this a LONG time ago!)

Those are just some things I am going to work on this week.
Todays meals went something like this...
1035 MRP shake
1200 1/2 srvg broccoli w/ ff ranch dressing
1315 1.5 c Bran flakes w/ 1 c skim milk
1730 1 srvg celery w/ 1 TBSP natural pb
1830 fajitas w/ el el bean

I feel like I had a very productive day! Did ubwo this morning and had an AWESOME, kick-butt cardio session this afternoon. And we did a whole bunch of situps and pushups this afternoon after cardio. As you all know I am working on passing my fitness test for the Air Force and I am working out with my Section Commander's wife!! My cardio this afternoon consisted of sprint training. Went really well... pushed myself past a point that I NEVER thought I could get through! I did it and now I'm unstoppable. It has filled me so much confidence in the running department! I know I am going to pass this test within the month. I can't wait!! Keep reading to find out when. :-)

Hey, just read your previous post- the new gym sounds awesome! I like the smaller gyms that are more personable too. It's good to find one you like and will stick with.

About this post, calling your Dad each night is a great idea!! And good for you writing out your goals! One thing though, I don't think you're eating enough. I would be chewing off an arm come afternoon! How is your energy?? Be careful...try getting in some lean protein in those meals ;)

I've been doing pretty good, I think. Although this afternoon's workout kicked my butt!!! It was so hard and I think it's b/c my body is tired and plus, not eating much. You're right. I've been thinking about that. It's hard for me to get in the protein b/c I don't like a lot of meat and eggs. What do you recommend??
